Pet emergenciesIn case of any emergency with your pet, your pet sitter will contact you immediately. 417 Pet Sitting will transport your pet to your vet. During transport and while at the vet, your pet sitter will make every effort to stay in constant contact with you. If an emergency arises after hours, your pet will be taken to the Emergency Vet Hospital and treated according to your wishes.

Service Check-insAt 417 Pet Sitting, we use secure pet-care software to keep you connected every step of the way. After each visit, you’ll receive a detailed update that includes notes about your pet’s care, along with photos so you can see how they’re doing. These real-time visit reports give you peace of mind and transparency, whether you’re at work or out of town. You’ll never have to wonder when we arrive or how your pet is doing. We make sure you’re always in the loop.

PaymentsWe accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards. Checks and money orders should be made out to "417 Pet Sitting" only. Invoices will be sent once services are completed. Please pay promptly. 

PricingDog Walks: $23 per walk

Pet Visits & Check-ins:

30-Minute Visits / Check-Ins (feeding, potty breaks, playtime, litter box cleanout, and lots of love): $28 per visit

60-Minute Visits (extended care including enrichment, longer walks, training help, or senior support): $52 pet visit

Overnight Care: $125 per night

Special Services:

Pet Taxi: $25 per trip base + mileage

Medication Administration: $10 flat fee per booking for six visits, $4 flat fee for bookings with five visits or fewer
(This fee is per booking, not per visit)

Last-minute Bookings:

Short-notice requests require fast scheduling and availability adjustments

Last-minute bookings (under 48 hours): +$10

Last-minute bookings (under 24 hours): +$20

(This fee supports scheduling, coordination, and staffing)

Multiple Pets: 
Additional care and responsibility for households with multiple pets

3 or more animals: +$5 (per visit, not per pet)

Home AccessYour pet sitter will retain your house key and security codes, properly secured, until you leave our service. This arrangement makes it more convenient and efficient for future pet sitting assignments. There is an additional $15 charge for pickup and/or delivery of keys after the initial consultation date.

Cancellation Policy417 Pet Sitting allows individual pet sitters to establish their own cancellation policies, which may vary but should not exceed our company policy. Our primary focus is providing outstanding pet care and services. When clients book with us, they secure our time and reserve a spot on our calendar, which becomes exclusively dedicated to them and cannot be allocated to anyone else. Therefore, these policies ensure fairness and accountability while respecting clients' and pet sitters' time and commitments.

417 Pet Sitting allows for refunds or credits to be applied towards future pet sitting services on a per instance basis. These policies do not apply to acts of God or extreme weather. The following outlines our typical cancellation policies:

Daily Walks/Visits
Regular Service Dates
* Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: No refunds for scheduled service times/dates for the first five consecutive days of services scheduled and then 25% credit for the remaining service dates on the same invoice.
*Cancellations with 24 to 48 hours notice: Refund or credit of 25% of total scheduled services times/dates.
* Cancellations with two to seven days notice: Refund or credit of 50% of total for scheduled service times/dates.
* Cancellations with eight or more days notice: Refund or credit of 75% of total for scheduled service times/dates.
*Holiday Service Dates
Cancellations with less than 14 days notice of first service date: No credit or refund for scheduled service times/dates for the first five days of scheduled services and then a credit of 25% for remaining scheduled services.
Early Returns: Services canceled due to early returns will not be issued a refund or credit.

Overnight Services

Regular Service Dates
Cancellations made with two weeks or less notice will not be eligible for a refund or credit for the first five days of services. A refund or credit of 25% will be issued for any scheduled days past the first five.
Holiday Service Dates
* Cancellations made with two weeks notice or less: No refunds or credit for scheduled service times/dates
* Cancellations made with 15 to 30 days notice: Refund or credit of 25% for scheduled services times/dates.
Early Returns: Services canceled due to early returns will not be issued a refund or credit.

Consultation Fees
Our first Meet and Greet is free. If this consultation with your primary pet sitter results in booked services that are subsequently canceled prior to the commencement of services, a $50 consultation fee will apply. In the instance that we need to have a back-up pet sitter for you, the first Meet and Greet with the new pet sitter also free.
